It’s past midnight. I’m sitting alone in my kitchen, sipping another cup of tea, and finding myself questioning: how hard is it to follow one’s dreams?
Decadenza Melodica (initially called S_musiq) began as a sudden realisation of probably the only perpetual thing in my life: my passion for electronic music. Since then, I’ve found myself spending countless hours in the vast electronic music library of Beatport, searching for the next big catch that will instantly captivate me with its awe-inspiring melody. It’s like a game of “pirates hunting the treasure” – thrilling, exciting, and sometimes even overwhelming.
Imagine being in a shared office space with five co-workers, all busy working on their computers, when you discover the next bomb track! You have the urge to shout, dance, and sometimes even clap to let the excitement out. But they just look at you like, “What is that repeating and factory-resembling sound coming from your headphones?” — leaving you deflated. That’s why I created this space for melodic house and techno lovers like us to connect and share this excitement together.
Decadenza Melodica is all about the finest music discoveries, emotions awakened by the tracks, and life-learned philosophies that inspire.
