Wars. A confession about the deepest feelings between two lovers. Everything that should have been said, but sometimes the words just get lost and we end up fighting a war of attitudes instead. It’s a relatable experience that many of us have been through.
‘Wars’ is on the bolder bassline side of tracks, with touching piano inserts and celestial vocals. It’s a collaboration between the young, talented producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist Tim van Werd and singer/songwriter LAKSHMI, whose name is inspired after the ancient goddess of wealth, fortune, and power.
Released on February 7, 2020, by the Dutch record label TurnItUp Muzik, ‘Wars’ is a part of their unique repertoire of releases, which they describe as “expect the unexpected”.
